Booking Your Alberta Hunt
Various hunt lengths, species combinations and methods are available, just let us know your interests and abilities. We will do our best to provide the experience you are looking for, or recommend someone that can. When you are considering booking your hunt, please contact us and we will provide you with our available openings and a list of references. You make a significant investment of time and money in a hunt and need to make the most of that investment. The best value is quality; our hunts deliver the value you expect and deserve.
Our personalized, hands on approach, is designed to ensure the highest quality, most successful hunting adventure possible. The number of hunters we serve is limited. With only a few openings available each year, we encourage planning ahead to secure your preferred dates. Only a small deposit is required for reservations made more than a year in advance.
Getting Here
The arrival/departure point for most of our hunts is Calgary International Airport. We can usually pick you up there (or at your hotel, should you need one), prior to your hunt and return you after your hunt is completed.
Terms and Conditions:
All deposits are protected by bonding. A 50% deposit is required to book a hunt for the upcoming season, for hunts booked further in advance, a smaller deposit will hold your dates. The balance is due in full 60 days prior to commencement of the hunt. We will issue a Hunt Contract and Client Information Form to be returned with your final payment.
Hunt prices include applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) and are net of the Visitor’s Rebate. No further rebates are available.
While our success rates are very high and most clients have an opportunity to take game, the outfitter gives no guarantees that game will be located and the client is not assured of any game.
By way of submitting a deposit, the participant(s) agree to these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that an expedition to a wilderness area for the purpose of hunting game is, or can be a dangerous or hazardous venture and further acknowledge that any person or persons who undertake such a venture assumes a risk far greater than an ordinary risk.
Unethical or other inappropriate behaviour, will not be tolerated and may result in the cessation of the hunt.
Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are nonrefundable, if a replacement hunter is found, deposits can be transferred to a following year. In the unlikely event that Double Diamond Outfitters must cancel a hunt, all deposits will be refunded in full.

6 Day Mountain Mule Deer and Whitetail Combination Hunt $9,500 USD
Hunt in November in the foothills and Eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. Stay in tent camp or ranch house as required. We will use horses on mountain trails to reach those places that hold trophy deer. Spot and stalk, rattling and calling, still hunting and stands are the methods used. Start/end the hunt in Calgary. Airport or hotel pick up included.

Hunt in October for Mulies in their bachelor herds. Stay in tent camp or ranch house as required, depending on hunting and weather conditions. We will use horses on mountain trails to reach the places that trophy bucks call home at this time of year. Start/end the hunt in Calgary. Airport or hotel pick up included.
